why does Martin Luther King Jr. deserve to have a holiday named after him

i personally think that martin Luther King Jr. should have a holiday named after him because he stopped segregation and fought for blacks to have a freedom of speech.Dr. king wanted all people to be created equall and all descrimnatation to stop.King also thought that black and whites jews and gentiles should united as one.So Dr, King deserves the holiday to be named after him because he made big changes in the world..

thanksgiving

my thanksgiving was kinda ok. we had a great time we ate food such as turkey, dressing, ham, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and chitterlings.later we ate desserts such as sweet potatoe pie, peach cobbler, cheese cake, lemon cake,strawberry cakle,and sum banana pudding. after eatting all the food and dessert i took a brief nap then later mwent down stairs and played a couple games of phase 10 with my family.thankgiving turned out great after all.

organization involvement

the red cross encourages young people to engage in community service because it lets the young people see how they can help people in need.you have to be willing to help people and listen to there problems.you also have to be dedicated to do the task.the reward might not be exactly what you want but atleast one reward would be making people happy and satified.

court ordered community service

court ordered community service is optional.some people choose to do community service others choose to pay the fine.court ordered community service is ordered by a judge at court after your wrong actions that occured.

for my 20 hours of community service i have been working with the kindergarden class.i help them do there work.play games with them and go on feild trips with them.i really enjoy working with them.i feel that it helps them with communication.

red ribbon week.i went around my community with a group and tied red ribbons around fences, poles, and trees.i enjod doing it because it help and remind people to stay drug free.
